Beanstalk Jack is a folk rock opera for the whole family. The show takes you through the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, with a boy meets girl twist, in song form. When we meet Jack he is a poor boy living in the country and the songs from his world are folksy. When he climbs up the beanstalk and discovers the lavish world of the mean looting giant the music shifts to vintage rock and roll. The combination of vocal harmonies, guitars, drums and toe tapping fiddling take audiences on a musical journey through a familiar classic. Designed to get little ones, and their parents, on their feet and dancing.
The Band: Jacob Silver, Robin MacMillan, Chris Parker, Stephanie Coleman, Tami Stronach & Greg Steinbruner
